MaxiPhyte™ 10,000

TECHNICAL SUMMARY

What is Thermostable MaxiPhyte 10,000 Phytase?
MaxiPhyte 10,000 is produced from Aspergillus niger through advanced liquid fermentation and extraction technology. It is thermo-resistance at a wide pH range, catalyzing effectively in animal intestine. It also has a good resistance to endogenic protease and gastric acid. MaxiPhyte 10,000 can break down the undigestible phytic acid (phytate) and release digestible phosphorus, calcium and other nutrients. As an animal feed additive used in poultry and swine, it can enhance the nutritive value by liberation of inorganic phosphate from phytic acid (myo-inositol hexakisphosphate) , thereby reduce phosphorus pollution to the environment.

Definition of Unit:
One phytase unit is defined as that amount of enzyme required to liberate 1 μmol of inorganic phosphorus per minute from sodium phytate under the condition of sodium phytate concentration 5.0 mmol/L at 37℃ and pH value 5.5, that is, one unit of phytase activity, expressed in U.

Enzyme Activity:
Phytase activity ≥ 10,000 U/g

Appearance:
White or yellowish.

Advantages of MaxiPhyte 10,000 and Comparison with other Phytase Products:
Our studies indicate that MaxiPhyte 10,000 has several feature characteristics and advantages compared to the Mainstream Phytase Products (a.k.a., Existing Mainstream Phytase Products in International Markets) as follows:

  1. Compared to the Mainstream Phytase Products MaxiPhyte 10,000 shows higher activity between pH 2.5 to 5.5, which is more suitable for the digestion of phytic acid in animal gastrointestinal tract.
  2. The activity of MaxiPhyte 10,000 can maintain 80% or more and our results show the products have a very good heat resistance at a wide pH range, catalyzing effectively in animal gastrointestinal tract.
  3. MaxiPhyte 10,000 maintains high activity under feed pelleting process.
  4. Compared to the Mainstream Phytase Products, MaxiPhyte 10,000 has a better resistance to endogenous protease.
  5. Results show MaxiPhyte 10,000 has a much higher phosphorus release capacity than the Mainstream Phytase Products.
  6. MaxiPhyte 10,000 is highly concentrated and cost saving, and it is evenly granular with appropriate grain size which blends well in a uniform fashion.
  7. All MaxiPhyte products are manufactured with U.S. FDA approvals.
Functions and Benefits:
Effectively hydrolyzing phytic acid in the plant materials, increasing the phosphorus utilization rate of feed raw material; Reducing the dosage of inorganic phosphorus and saving cost of animal feed; Breaking phytanate frame, releasing nutrients such as starch, protein, mineral elements, increasing the utilization rate; Improving the absorption phosphorus and reducing environmental pollution.
